I could never sell this thing. It’s just fantastic.

What you mean is “Once it breaks again, I’ll get serious about selling it.”

It’s like a reverse JKM situtation. Stockholm syndrome, maybe.

You and Jkm can make an entire sub blog about NOT replacing things that you want to replace.

Not even a little bit. It all seemed a little surreal to be honest.

This is the first time I’ve really been able to drive it since November. I think I forgot how much I loved driving it.

Oh right, Minnesota winter

I’m going to drive it next winter I think. Also, I’m going to lease something very cheap and new and then slowly start replacing bits on the S class. How hard is it to replace the passenger seat SRS sensor ?

Not too bad. Just take your time and be careful, but at the same time it will take some effort. The hardest part is getting the leather back on and taking dealing with the plastic trim pieces.

Hmm. Do you think it’d help to remove the seat ?

You have made a wise decision.

I couldn’t sell her. Unless I was getting a newer S600 that is.

Fuck yeah! These old luxobarges may rake you across the coals when it comes to repairs, but damn if they aren’t hard to let go of.
